About ZenBooks Accounting
ZenBooks Accounting publishes plain-English guides to the accounting standards that shape financial statements: IFRS and IAS issued by the International Accounting Standards Board, and US GAAP as codified by the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
Each article aims to do three things: explain what the standard requires, show how it works with a worked example and journal entries, and point out where IFRS and US GAAP differ.

Editorial approach
- Explanations are based on the published standards and are reviewed when standards change.
- Examples use simplified, illustrative figures.
- Articles are educational and are not a substitute for professional advice.
